Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Vel Industries, operating the registered unit LoraMind (“Vel Industries”, “LoraMind”, “we”, “our” or “us”), collects, uses, shares, protects or otherwise processes your information and personal data through our website https://loramind.com/ and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). You may browse certain sections of the Platform without registering. We do not offer any product or service under this Platform outside India, and your personal data will primarily be stored and processed in India.

By visiting this Platform, providing your information or availing any product or service offered on the Platform, you expressly agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use and the applicable service or product terms and conditions, and agree to be governed by the laws of India, including but not limited to the laws applicable to data protection and privacy. If you do not agree, please do not use or access our Platform.

Collection

We collect information you provide when you register for or use the Platform, including your email address, account credentials, prompts, uploaded files, generated content, conversations, project information, and support communications.

When you purchase credits, we collect transaction information such as the purchase amount, credit quantity, order and payment identifiers, payment status, and transaction timestamps. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not ask you to disclose your card PIN, UPI PIN, net-banking password, or other payment authentication credentials to LoraMind.

If you choose to use server deployment features, we may process server connection information that you provide. Saved server credentials are protected using encryption. We may also collect technical and usage information such as browser or device information, IP address, logs, feature usage, and diagnostic data needed to operate, secure, and improve the Platform.

If you receive an email or a call from a person or association claiming to be Vel Industries and seeking personal data such as your debit or credit card PIN, net-banking password or mobile-banking password, never provide that information. If you have already revealed such information, report it immediately to an appropriate law enforcement agency.

Usage

We use personal data to create and manage accounts; provide requested AI and software services; process credit purchases and maintain the credit ledger; store and display user content and outputs; provide customer support; troubleshoot problems; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; comply with legal obligations; enforce our Terms & Conditions; and improve the Platform. Where we use your information for optional marketing, we will provide a way to opt out.

Sharing

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Platform, including cloud hosting, storage, AI coding, software build infrastructure, analytics, communications, security, and payment providers. We share only the information reasonably necessary for those providers to perform services for us and require them to handle it in accordance with applicable obligations.

We may also disclose personal data to government agencies or authorised law-enforcement agencies when required by law or in the good-faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to lawful process, prevent fraud or illegal activity, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, and safety of Vel Industries, our users, or the public.

Security Precautions

Once your information is in our possession or whenever you access your account information, we adhere to our security guidelines to protect it against unauthorised access and offer the use of a secure server. However, the transmission of information is not completely secure for reasons beyond our control.

By using the Platform, users accept the security implications of transmitting data over the internet and World Wide Web, which cannot always be guaranteed as completely secure, and therefore there will always remain certain inherent risks regarding use of the Platform. Users are responsible for protecting the login and password records for their account.

Data Deletion and Retention

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing support@loramind.com. Once an account is deleted, you will lose access to the account and its associated content. We may delay or limit deletion where information must be retained for pending grievances, payment disputes, fraud prevention, security, tax, accounting, or other legal obligations.

We retain your personal data for no longer than is required for the purpose for which it was collected or as required under applicable law. However, we may retain data related to you if we believe it may be necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, or for other legitimate purposes. We may continue to retain your data in anonymised form for analytical and research purposes.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or raise a privacy concern, by contacting us at support@loramind.com or contacting the Grievance Officer below. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.

Consent

By visiting our Platform or providing your information, you consent to the collection, use, storage, disclosure and other processing of your information on the Platform in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you disclose to us personal data relating to other people, you represent that you have the authority to do so and permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

While providing your personal data through the Platform or a payment or technology partner, you consent to us and our service providers contacting you through email, SMS, instant messaging, or telephone when necessary to operate the Platform, complete transactions, provide support, protect your account, or satisfy legal obligations.

You may withdraw consent that you have already provided by writing to the Grievance Officer using the contact information below. Please include “Withdrawal of consent for processing personal data” in the subject line of your communication. We may verify such requests before acting on them. Withdrawal of consent will not be retrospective and will be handled in accordance with the Terms of Use, this Privacy Policy and applicable laws. If you withdraw consent provided under this Privacy Policy, we reserve the right to restrict or deny services for which we consider that information necessary.
